TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Storyboard Studio ("we," "us," "the Service") at storyboardstudio.in. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. THE SERVICE
Storyboard Studio is pre-production software for filmmakers: build shot-by-shot storyboards with camera and lens details, cast & crew info, call sheets, script excerpts, and export them as PDFs, spreadsheets, or timed animatics. Some features are available on a Free plan; others require a paid Pro subscription.
2. ACCOUNTS
You need an account to use the Service, created via email and password, Google sign-in, or phone number. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. PLANS, BILLING, AND CANCELLATION
Free plan: limited number of projects and shots per project, with certain features (video export, call sheets, gear checklists, location reports, watermark removal, AI image generation) available only on Pro.
Pro plan: available as a one-time Lifetime purchase, or a recurring Monthly or Yearly subscription. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew and are automatically charged to your payment method each billing cycle until you cancel. Lifetime is a single one-time payment with no further billing.
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from Account settings. Cancelling stops future billing, but you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for — there's no partial refund for the remaining time. All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are processed by Razorpay or Cashfree; see their terms for payment-specific conditions.
4. AI IMAGE CREDITS
AI image generation is a Pro feature that additionally requires a prepaid image-credit balance, purchased separately from your subscription. Credits are non-refundable once purchased, do not expire, and are consumed one per successfully generated image. If a generation attempt fails on our end, the credit is refunded automatically.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to: use the Service for anything illegal or to infringe someone else's rights; upload content you don't have the right to use; attempt to circumvent plan limits, security measures, or payment obligations; abuse the AI features (for example, generating content unrelated to legitimate storyboard/pre-production use); or interfere with the Service's normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. YOUR CONTENT
You retain ownership of everything you create in the Service — your storyboards, images, audio, and script excerpts. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and anyone you invite to collaborate. We don't claim ownership of your work and won't use it for anything beyond operating the Service, unless you separately agree otherwise.
7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
Images generated through the Service's AI features are produced by Google's Gemini models based on the prompt you provide. AI-generated images are meant as a rough visual draft for pre-production planning, not a finished or guaranteed-accurate depiction — review and adjust as needed for your actual production. You're responsible for how you use AI-generated content, including ensuring your prompts don't request content that infringes third-party rights.
8. COLLABORATION
If you invite collaborators to a project, you're responsible for who you invite and what access level (viewer or editor) you grant them. Project owners control their project's Pro-feature access and plan limits apply based on the owner's plan, not a collaborator's. Removing a collaborator or leaving a project takes effect immediately.
9. ACCOUNT TERMINATION AND DELETION
You can permanently delete your own account at any time from Account settings — this deletes every project you own, removes you from projects you collaborate on, and closes your login immediately and irreversibly. We may also suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
10. DISCLAIMERS
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will meet your expectations. You're responsible for backing up or exporting anything critical before deleting a project or your account, since deletion is permanent.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Storyboard Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR TERMS
We may update these Terms or change, add, or remove features over time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make material changes. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
